Bellissima Brera
From piazza Gae Aulenti and the cradle of local nightlife to the artsy neighborhood named 'milanese Montmartre':
don't miss our most varied 3 hours workshop!master urban landscape photography with the help of a pro!
We will start from ultra-modern Piazza Gae Aulenti, Milan’s new majestic landmark with its square, fountains and high rise glass buildings, then head for medieval Castello Sforzesco.
We will take advantage as well of the perspectives that two of the most lively and artsy districts in town have to offer: Corso Como with its art galleries, pubs, discos and hip atmosphere and Brera district, housing the Academy of Fine Arts and the eponymous Pinacoteca di Brera, which prominently contributed to the development of Brera as an artists’ neighborhood and a place of bohemian heritage, sometimes referred to as “the milanese Montmartre“. Other features that contribute to the character of Brera include antique and art shops, colorful street markets, as well as ‘fortune tellers’ booths.
For your convenience, the photowalk will end near Milan’s ‘golden triangle’ of Via Montenapoleone, where you will have the opportunity to simply look at shop windows or spend the earnings of a lifetime!
